7R, a company specializing in providing customers with innovative and eco-friendly warehouse and logistics space, has completed the sale of 7R Park Goleni\u00f3w II to Macquarie Asset Management. The BTS (Build-to-Suit) format warehouse in Goleni\u00f3w, near Szczecin, comprises of 62,500 sqm of modern logistics space and 3,100 sqm of office space. The facility is fully leased to FIEGE, a German mail-order retailer and global e-commerce giant. This is the second deal between Macquarie Asset Management and 7R closed within the last few months. In August 2022, the investor also acquired the 7R City Flex Warsaw Airport I facility.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Macquarie Asset Management is a major investor in the European real estate sector, expanding its portfolio of properties developed by 7R. It previously acquired 7R City Flex Warsaw Airport I following the sale of the urban warehouses near Wroc\u0142aw, Gda\u0144sk and Lodz in November 2021, and has recently decided to increase the total volume of investments by another A-class logistics complex in 7R Park Goleni\u00f3w II.<\/p>\n

The facility combines both environmentally friendly design, high-quality logistics space, and a wide variety of solutions supporting employees\u2019 well-being and comfort. The property is expected to be awarded an \u2018Excellent\u2019 rating under BREEAM\u2019s sustainable building certification scheme. It is strategically located in Goleni\u00f3w in the Industrial Zone adjacent to the S3 express road and, due to the extensive road infrastructure, provides great accessibility to Szczecin city centre \u2013 just 30 km away \u2013 as well as the cargo terminal at Solidarity Szczecin Goleni\u00f3w Airport. 7R previously announced that FIEGE is the main tenant of the facility. The property has been built in BTS (Build-To-Suit) format.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n\n\n

The building’s energy efficiency is also positively influenced by using air temperature equalization destratifiers in the hall and LED lighting through a DALI system. Outside, there will be a recreational zone for employees, flower meadows, bird and insect boxes, and charging stations for electric cars. Rainwater will be used to water the green areas. The general contractor for the construction works is Goldbeck. 7R Architects made the conceptual design of the building. The entire investment is realized in the design-build format by Goldbeck.<\/p>\n
