Fanex Trade, a distributor of FMCG products from global brands, is expanding its warehouse capacity in the Tri-City region. As part of its business expansion, Fanex Trade will occupy 5,800 square meters of space in a city warehouse operated by the 7R City Flex Last Mile Logistics network in Gdynia. JLL advised the tenant on the selection of the new location.
Fanex Trade has been operating in the Tri-City since 2006. The company has established a strong position in the Polish beverage and confectionery market. It is currently focused on expanding its operations into foreign markets. In light of its ambitious business plans, Fanex Trade has decided to relocate. The company has chosen a city warehouse from developer 7R as its new headquarters.
The 7R City Flex Gdynia urban warehouse is a facility specifically designed to meet the needs of logistics, last-mile operations, and manufacturing. This Class A development offers tenants a total of 14,000 sq m of space in an excellent location. The proximity to the Port of Gdynia—recognized as the Pearl of the Polish Economy and an intra-European logistics hub—as well as direct access to the Tri-City ring road, are key advantages of this 7R facility. The building is scheduled to be completed in June 2021.
Northern Poland is a strategic region for 7R. This is where we built our first warehouse, and we continue to expand our network of big-box facilities and SBU-type facilities. Our City Flex will be the first urban warehouse on Gdynia’s logistics map, located so close to the port and the city center. We believe that at this location, Fanex Trade will successfully carry out its ambitious growth plans.

Pomerania is a key location given the growing importance of maritime and intermodal transport in supply chains, which continue to expand despite the pandemic and economic constraints. The thriving Port of Gdynia and the deep-water DCT Gdańsk terminal, near which 7R is planning its next investment, are factors that maximize the potential for companies planning logistics operations in northern Poland.
The warehouse’s location provides access to adequate infrastructure and public transportation, making it an attractive location for employees as well, thereby increasing recruitment opportunities and improving the working conditions for those employed there. In addition, the 7R urban warehouse offers top-quality space, which means the use of eco-friendly solutions that, among other things, improve energy efficiency.
