7R is expanding its investment team

Savas Gencer has been appointed investment director at 7R. He has joined the investment team led by Christopher Zeuner and will be responsible for capital-raising activities and 7R’s international expansion into new European markets.

Savas Gencer has over ten years of experience in private equity real estate investment. Prior to joining 7R, he was vice president at Amstar, where he was responsible for the company’s investment and asset management activities in Central and Eastern Europe and Turkey. Savas has asset management experience in international markets and a track record of completing transactions worth EUR 1 billion, including sales of residential and retail investments in Poland such as Złota 44, a luxury high-rise residential tower in Warsaw, and the Novum residential project in Kraków.

To date, 7R has completed the development of over 740,000 square meters of Class A logistics space in Poland and has over 1.6 million square meters in its pipeline. Since 2018, the company has also been developing its pioneering urban warehouse concept in Poland—7R City Flex Last Mile Logistics. In early 2020, 7R became the first warehouse and logistics developer in Poland to adopt a pro-environmental development approach, which is based on the principles of sustainable construction and aims to deliver eco-friendly buildings.

Savas Gencer is a member of the Urban Land Institute and holds a bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning from METU and an MBA from Sabanci University.
