Developer 7R has won a bid to purchase 20 hectares of land within the Pomorskie Centrum Inwestycyjne industrial park. A logistics complex, 7R Park Gdańsk Port, with a total area of approximately 123,000 sq. m, will be built on the site. The property is located in the immediate vicinity of the Port of Gdańsk and the largest deep-water terminal on the Baltic Sea—DCT Gdańsk.

The acquisition of a plot within the Pomeranian Investment Center marks a breakthrough for 7R in strengthening its network of logistics and industrial parks in northern Poland. DCT Gdańsk is the fastest-growing container terminal in Poland and the only deep-water terminal in the Baltic Sea region. Ships from all over the world, including the Far East, call at this port. In this strategically important location for maritime transport, the developer plans to build modern Class A warehouse and production facilities, incorporating cutting-edge building technologies—PropTech. The developer will also ensure that the planned facilities have a minimal impact on the natural environment.

We were keen to develop a logistics park near Poland’s largest and fastest-growing container terminal. This will allow us to expand our portfolio with a specialized project tailored to port-related and maritime industry operations. It is worth noting that this conveniently located and well-connected site also perfectly meets the needs of the logistics, warehousing, and light manufacturing sectors. We are convinced that a complex such as 7R Park Gdańsk Port is essential for the further development of Gdańsk’s maritime transport.

The project is in the early stages of design and planning.

It was in Pomerania that 7R began its property development activities in 2008. Projects completed in the province include: 7R Park Gdańsk I, 7R Park Tczew, and the urban last-mile warehouse: 7R City Flex Gdańsk Airport. Other projects are currently at various stages of the investment process, including: 7R Park Gdańsk II, 7R City Flex Gdańsk, and 7R City Flex Gdynia.
