Avenger Flight Group, a U.S.-based boutique aviation training company, has launched Poland’s first training center for commercial pilots. The newly opened facility is located in the 7R City Flex Warsaw Airport I complex, near Chopin Airport. Here, pilots can use a technologically advanced full-flight simulator for the Boeing 737NG, manufactured by the Canadian company CAE. The simulator was certified for use last week by the Polish Civil Aviation Authority and the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). Until now, Polish flight crews had to undergo training and recertification abroad.
This is the third Avenger Flight Group (AFG) training center to open in Europe this year, following those in Madrid and Rome. AFG centers offer European airlines training tailored to their specific needs. The company owns and operates 10 centers in 6 different countries across North and Latin America and Europe.
Within the 7R City Flex Airport I complex, the AFG training center occupies 1,800 square meters of space, which will ultimately be able to accommodate up to six flight simulators. In addition, the company has leased 950 sq m of office space in the same building, which can be expanded by an additional floor if necessary. The space features modern classrooms and briefing rooms that will complement flight simulation training.
