Avenger Flight Group, an American boutique-style aviation training company, has expanded its European training operations with the launch of Poland’s first-ever commercial aviation training center. This brand-new facility is located in the 7R City Flex Warsaw Airport I complex, near Chopin Airport. Pilots are using the technologically advanced Boeing 737NG full-flight simulator built by CAE. The simulator, developed in cooperation with the Civil Aviation Authority of the Republic of Poland (CAA) and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), entered service last week. Until now, Polish flight crews had to undergo training and recertification abroad.
The opening of the Warsaw training facility marks the third European training center that Avenger Flight Group (AFG) has opened in 2020, following Madrid and Rome, to provide customized training solutions to European airlines. The company owns and operates ten training centers in six different countries across the Americas and Europe.
In the 7R City Flex Warsaw Airport I complex, AFG occupies 1,800 square meters of newly constructed industrial space capable of accommodating up to six flight simulators. In addition, the company has leased a 950-square-meter office in the same building, with the building’s structure allowing for an additional floor if necessary. This office space will provide flight crews with modern classrooms and briefing rooms to complement their flight simulation training.
