Avenger Flight Group opens Poland’s first commercial aviation training center in the 7R City Flex complex in Warsaw, Poland

Avenger Flight Group, an American boutique-style aviation training company, has expanded its European training operations with the launch of Poland’s first ever commercial aviation training center. This brand-new facility is located in the 7R City Flex Warsaw Airport I complex, near Chopin Airport. Pilots are utilizing the technologically advanced Boeing 737NG full-flight simulator built by CAE. The simulator, in cooperation with the Civil Aviation Authority of the Republic of Poland (CAA), and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), went into service last week. Until now Polish flight crews had to undergo training and recertification abroad.

The opening of the Warsaw training location marks the third European training center Avenger Flight Group (AFG) has unveiled in 2020, following Madrid and Rome, to offer customized training needs to European airlines. The company owns and operates ten training centers in six different countries in the Americas and Europe.

In the 7R City Flex Warsaw Airport I complex, AFG occupies 1,800 sqm of newly constructed industrial space which can accommodate up to six flight simulators. In addition, the company has leased a 950 sqm office in the same building, with the property’s structure allowing for an additional floor if necessary. This office space will provide flight crews with modern classrooms and briefing rooms that will complement their flight simulation training.

Today we celebrate the hard work of so many individuals who helped in the planning and implementation of this great accomplishment. This is an incredible achievement given the challenges we have all faced this year. AFG is committed to the future growth of our airline partners and delivering more opportunities to an underserviced region. We chose the 7R City Flex facility due to its very convenient location near Warsaw Chopin Airport. We’re also very satisfied with our close cooperation with the developer who responded to our requirements and created the space we needed.

chief executive officer at Avenger Flight Group

The building that was prepared for Avenger Flight Group’s training operations was a build-to-suit project, which meets the precise requirements of a professional aviation training center.

The space we delivered was designed according to the specific standards required by our client. In the training hall, we have implemented solutions which support exacting temperature controls. We have also built special mezzanines enabling trainees to board the first two simulators.

The first training sessions at new Avenger Flight Group’s center in Warsaw were held on September 12, 2020.
