Castorama is moving into 7R Park Łódź East I

Castorama, Poland’s largest home improvement retailer, which sells construction and finishing products online and through 90 brick-and-mortar stores across the country, has chosen the modern logistics facility 7R Park Łódź East I. The total space to be occupied by the tenant is over 36,000 square meters. Castorama was supported in the leasing process by the consulting firm JLL.

The building in the 7R Park Łódź East I complex, designated for Castorama’s operations, consists of over 35,300 sq ft of warehouse space and approximately 770 sq ft of office space. The tenant will begin operations at the facility as early as February 2022.

A modern logistics center in the heart of Poland, with a road network that provides excellent connections throughout the country, ensures increased productivity and efficiency in transportation and warehousing processes. This investment enables us to meet the advanced logistics needs associated with projects that are key to Castorama Polska. The prime location of 7R Park Łódź East I, right next to the A1 highway exit, offers excellent conditions for international, domestic, and local transportation. Public transportation stops are located nearby, ensuring convenient access for employees.

7R Park Łódź East I is a modern logistics park comprising three facilities with a total area of approximately 100,000 sq m, located in the eastern part of the city, in the immediate vicinity of the Brzeziny interchange. All warehouses comprising 7R Park Łódź East I meet Class A building standards and, thanks to the eco-friendly solutions implemented—which, among other things, improve energy efficiency—are BREEAM-certified.

We are delighted that, once again, Castorama—a leader in its industry—has entrusted us with finding the optimal solution for its warehouse facilities in Central Poland. Given the highly dynamic nature of the warehouse market, both in terms of demand and supply, close collaboration was essential. Castorama was looking for space that would be available on short notice, which required a high level of commitment and a flexible approach from all parties.
