Castorama moves into 7R Park Łódź East I

Castorama, Poland’s largest chain of home improvement stores, which sells construction and finishing products online and in 90 brick-and-mortar stores across the country, has selected a modern logistics facility at 7R Park Łódź East I. The tenant will occupy a total area of more than 36,000 square meters. JLL advised Castorama during the leasing process.

The building in the 7R Park Łódź East I complex, designed for Castorama’s operations, consists of over 35,300 square meters of warehouse space and 770 square meters of office space. The tenant will begin operations at the facility in February 2022.

This modern logistics center, located in the heart of Poland and situated close to a road network that provides excellent connections throughout the country, ensures greater efficiency and effectiveness in transport and storage processes. The investment enables us to meet the advanced logistics requirements associated with Castorama Poland’s key projects. Thanks to this project, we can guarantee even faster delivery, which will undoubtedly result in improved service and increased customer satisfaction.

The prime location of 7R Park Łódź East I, adjacent to an A1 highway interchange, makes it ideal for international, domestic, and local transport logistics. Public transportation services are available near the facility, ensuring convenient commuting for employees.

Łódź is a strategic location for us. To date, we have built three large logistics parks and two smaller warehouses as part of our 7R City Flex Last Mile Logistics network in the area. I am pleased that Castorama has recognized the benefits of 7R’s investment in Łódź and that this leader in Poland’s DIY sector is joining the list of tenants at 7R Park Łódź East I. 7R Park Łódź East I is a modern warehouse park consisting of three buildings with a total area of approximately 100,000 square meters. It is located on the eastern outskirts of the city, in the immediate vicinity of the Brzeziny highway interchange. All warehouses in 7R Park Łódź East I meet Class A building standards and, thanks to the implementation of eco-friendly solutions—such as those that improve energy efficiency—are BREEAM-certified.

We are delighted that once again Castorama, a leader in its sector, has entrusted us with finding the optimal solution for its warehouse facilities in Central Poland. Given the rapidly changing dynamics in the industrial market on both the demand and supply sides, a resilient partnership is crucial. Castorama was looking for space that could be made available on short notice, which required strong commitment and a flexible approach from all parties. The modern 7R Park Łódź East I facility met the tenant’s expectations not only in terms of deadlines and quality requirements, but also with regard to its excellent geographical location.
