7R, a company specializing in creating innovative and eco-friendly warehouse and production spaces, partnered with the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw to organize the 7R Warehouse of Art competition, titled “Young Art for the Planet,” which promotes young artists and themes related to environmental protection. The initiative is part of the company’s ESG initiatives. The winners were announced on May 31, and an exhibition of their works is scheduled for this fall.

The competition was open to students and graduates of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Its theme was the slogan “Technology. Ecology. Man. Coexistence.” The task was to create a design for applied art on an ecological theme in one of three categories: an ergonomic seat, a mural for a fire tank, or an ecological 7R gadget.

Can art influence magazines, and can industrial spaces inspire artists? The 7R Warehouse art competition proves that they can. We have received dozens of highly creative works by young artists that inspire and offer an intriguing interpretation of reality. At the heart of these works are people and the environment—values that are important to our organization. Through our ESG initiatives, we aim to support efforts that contribute to the development of the natural environment and local communities.

A total of 26 entries were submitted to the competition. The winners were selected by a jury composed of:

  • Professor Prot Jarnuszkiewicz – Vice Rector for External Cooperation and Promotion at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw
  • Professor Tomasz Milanowski – Dean of the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw
  • Bazyli Krasulak, Ph.D., Professor at the University and Dean of the Faculty of Interior Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw

Students and graduates of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw demonstrated their remarkable imagination in their works by presenting unique projects that combine fields such as ecology, industry, and art in a creative and innovative way. Each of the submitted works stands out for its originality—both in the choice of techniques used to create the works and in the concept and approach to interpreting the competition’s slogan: “Technology. Ecology. Man. Coexistence.” Congratulations on these ideas.
