7R, renowned for its high-quality warehouses and industrial facilities, is embarking on the development of a state-of-the-art technology and production hub in Nowa Huta. The initial phase, which involves soil remediation, is underway, with construction expected to begin later this year.
Located within the “Ruszcza” Logistics and Industrial Center, an integral part of the “Kraków Nowa Huta Przyszłości” initiative, the hub will feature three buildings offering a total of 230,000 square meters of premium technological and production space. This development will utilize the low-emission 7R Green Saver warehouse line
This investment is designed for clients interested in state-of-the-art manufacturing. The hub will also accommodate smaller companies, particularly local entrepreneurs, ultimately forming a cluster that promotes the simultaneous development of various industries.
explains Michał Białas
Co-CEO of 7R
In line with Kraków’s strategy to foster innovative sectors and attract new investments, the project presents a significant opportunity.
As the economy evolves and becomes more specialized, we have a tremendous opportunity to attract investors from around the world. These investors will view us not merely as an affordable subcontractor, but as partners for investing in and developing new, cutting-edge projects. However, they require adequate space, including in Krakow.
says Tomasz Lubowiecki
Vice Chair of the Supervisory Board of 7R
This investment also supports the city’s vision of redefining Nowa Huta, which has historically been associated with heavy industry.
The project includes revitalizing the area and planting over 2,000 new trees, including species that promote habitat development. Natural depressions will be converted into rain gardens to store and filter water, thereby improving soil quality and the surrounding vegetation.
We aim to revitalize this area by restoring green spaces, planting trees on approximately 10 hectares, and creating rain gardens, all while managing the land responsibly.
confirms Tomasz Lubowiecki
Vice Chair of the Supervisory Board of 7R
The developer has launched the project by remediating the contaminated soil, drawing on experience from previous projects in Silesia. The site has been thoroughly inspected, and all necessary permits have been obtained. Construction is scheduled to begin later this year.

“Kraków – Nowa Huta of the Future” is a strategic project of the City of Kraków and the Małopolska Province, aimed at creating a new urban district on post-industrial sites that formerly constituted the buffer zone of the metallurgical complex in Nowa Huta, thereby deepening the economic diversification of the city and the province, as well as creating favorable conditions for the development of industries representing so-called Smart Specializations. The project includes the following components: the “Ruszcza” Logistics and Industrial Center, the “Branice” Science and Technology Park, a residential development area, the “Błonia 2.0” Center for Large-Scale Outdoor Cultural Events, and the “Przylasek Rusiecki” Recreation and Leisure Center.
