Michał Białas and Chris Zeuner have been appointed to the position of Chairman of the Management Board of the 7R Group and will serve as co-CEOs. This co-management model marks a new chapter in the development of 7R, a developer specializing in high-quality warehouses.

Michał Białas—formerly Chief Business Development Officer and a member of the 7R management board—and Chris Zeuner—formerly Chief Investment Officer—assumed the roles of co-CEOs on June 19, 2024. They succeeded Tomasz Lubowiecki, the founder and former CEO of 7R. The new CEOs will manage the company under a partnership model, focusing on different areas of the business in line with their respective expertise. – We see significant long-term potential in the Polish logistics market. Fully realizing this potential involves increasing leadership demands—strengthening relationships with tenants, landowners, local authorities, capital partners, and lenders—as well as achieving sustainable development goals. As one of the market’s leading developers, 7R is perfectly positioned to capitalize on this opportunity. The collaboration of two strong leaders with complementary skills and diverse experiences ensures the company has the best leadership to drive success. “We congratulate Chris and Michał on their new roles and look forward to a wonderful new chapter in 7R’s history,” comments Petri Valkama, Partner & Head of Strategic Transactions at Nrep, the majority shareholder of 7R.

Tomasz Lubowiecki, the outgoing CEO and co-founder of 7R, will join the Supervisory Board. He will also remain a minority shareholder in 7R. “I am pleased to hand over the reins to the management team—Chris and Michał—who will lead 7R into its next phase of growth. They are the perfect leadership duo to strengthen 7R’s position in Poland and execute ambitious growth plans in the Czech Republic and other international markets. I am glad that I was able to help build 7R, which is why I will be happy to offer advice and active support in my new role. The company remains close to my heart, and its successes have been, are, and will continue to be a source of great satisfaction for me,” says Tomasz Lubowiecki.

Michał Białas previously served as CBDO at 7R, where his responsibilities included business development, expanding the real estate portfolio, and overseeing leasing and marketing operations. As co-CEO, he will manage the following areas: Business Development, Leasing, Land Acquisition, Construction & Sustainability, and Marketing & Communications. Before joining 7R, he led the operations of industrial real estate investor Accolade in Poland and was also a member of the management board of the Accolade SICAV fund. He is a graduate of IMD, the London School of Economics and Political Science, the Warsaw School of Economics, and SWPS University.

Chris Zeuner previously served as CIO and a member of the 7R Executive Board. His responsibilities included securing sufficient capital for the group to execute its growth strategy, as well as for potential future expansion into other markets. As co-CEO, he will assume responsibility for the following departments: Capital Markets, Finance, People & Culture, Asset & Property Management, Legal & Compliance, and International. Before joining 7R, he was Head of Europe at Amstar, a private real estate investment group, and worked for several leading real estate investors, including LaSalle Investment Management, JER Partners, and GE Capital Real Estate. He is a graduate of Nottingham Trent University.
