Martes Sport, a chain of large-format sports stores founded in Bielsko-Biała, is expanding its warehouse facilities with a lease agreement for space in Czechowice-Dziedzice, Poland. Due to the expansion of its operations, particularly in e-commerce, the company will occupy more than 21,000 square meters of warehouse space, as well as an office of approximately 1,000 square meters in 7R BTS Beskid III. The company’s new location will be operational in the second half of 2022.
Martes Sport offers clothing, footwear, and sports and tourism products at 360 brick-and-mortar locations as well as online. 7R BTS Beskid III, a modern warehouse and logistics park, will receive a BREEAM Very Good certification.
Construction of the facility will begin in January 2022 and is expected to take nine months to complete. The 8,200-square-meter warehouse will feature a range of amenities, including a storage height of 10.6 meters. It will also include 20 forklift charging stations and a docking layout tailored to the tenant’s operations. The new warehouse will support Martes Sports’ steadily growing online sales.
7R Beskid Park, 7R Beskid Park II, and 7R BTS Beskid III are the southernmost 7R facilities in the country. They offer excellent connectivity to the region and beyond. All three locations are close to the borders of the Czech Republic and Slovakia and further expand our network of warehouses in Silesia. What is important is that we are expanding our network even further in this region, which demonstrates that our warehouse locations are valued by tenants. I am very pleased that Martes Sport, a company based in this part of the country, also recognizes the advantages of 7R BTS Beskid III and will lease not only a modern warehouse but also office space in the new facility.

7R BTS Beskid III, a modern warehousing and logistics complex spanning approximately 22,000 square meters, is located in Czechowice-Dziedzice in Silesia, adjacent to National Road 1, which connects northern and southern Poland. Another advantage of the project is its proximity to the Bielsko-Biała Komorowice interchange, which means that every part of Bielsko-Biała is within easy reach. There is also a rail connection, which makes this location attractive to well-qualified prospective employees from the surrounding towns.
