7R, a company specializing in the creation of innovative and eco-friendly warehouse and production spaces, in collaboration with the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, organized the 7R Warehouse of Art “Young Art for the Planet” competition—promoting young artists and themes related to environmental protection. The initiative is one of the company’s ESG initiatives. On May 31, the winners of the competition were announced. An exhibition of the works is scheduled for this fall.
The competition was open to students and graduates of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Its theme was “Technology. Ecology. People. Coexistence.” The competition task was to create a design for an eco-themed applied art piece in one of three categories: an ergonomic seat, a mural for a fire hydrant, and an eco-friendly 7R gadget.
Can art influence warehouses, and can industrial spaces inspire artists? The 7R Warehouse of Art competition proves that it can. We have received dozens of incredibly creative works by young artists that inspire and offer an interesting interpretation of reality. At the heart of these works are people and the environment—values close to our organization’s heart. Through our ESG initiatives, we aim to support activities that contribute to the development of the natural environment and local communities.
